Your site must be indexed by the search engines and make sure they does. For that your site must be properly structured and SEO optimized.

Do a search at Google.com with the following term: Site:domain.com
Replace domain.com with your site name.

Broken links gives a bad image of your website/blog. Maintain a consistency with all the links to your website and fix all the broken links. This will help to keep your website more search engine friendly. For checking broken links you can use various tools like broken link checker or you can also use webmaster tool to check broken links, Just Google them.
